Terms of service
These terms cover your use of Grand Invitations. By creating an account you agree to them. If something is unclear, write to love@grandinvitations.com before you pay.
Who we are
Grand Invitations is a service of AG Digital Solutions Ltd, a company in Uganda. "We" and "us" mean AG Digital Solutions Ltd. "You" means the couple, planner or committee member who uses the dashboard.
What the service does
Grand Invitations lets you build a digital wedding invitation, give each guest a private invite link, collect RSVPs, check guests in at the gate with a QR pass, and, on packages that include it, record and collect committee pledges.
Your account
- Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password private.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what the committee members and treasurers you add, and the ushers you give gate access to, do with their access.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
Prices and payment
- Building and previewing an invite is free. You pay once per wedding, for the package you choose, before you send invites to guests.
- Prices are shown in Ugandan shillings on our website and in your dashboard. There is no subscription.
- You can upgrade to a bigger package later and pay only the difference.
- Text messages sent from the platform are charged per message at the price shown in your dashboard.
- Payments are processed by Pesapal by mobile money or card. We do not see or store your card details.
Online pledge payments
On packages with pledges, contributors can pay their pledge through a pay link. These contributions belong to your wedding, not to us. A collection fee is deducted from payments made online. The fee is shown in your dashboard before you use the feature. Cash and mobile money that your treasurer records by hand are not charged. Your wedding owner asks for a payout from the dashboard, and we send it to the account you give us.
Your content and your guests' details
- You keep ownership of the names, photos, wording and guest lists you add. You allow us to store and display them only to run the service for you.
- You confirm that you have the right to use the photos you upload and that your guests and contributors are happy for you to share their names and phone numbers with us so we can send them their invite, reminders and receipts.
- Do not use the service to send messages that are unlawful, abusive, misleading or unrelated to your wedding.
Check-in at the gate
The QR pass tells ushers who a guest is and how many people the pass admits. Decisions at the gate are made by you and your ushers. We are not responsible for who is let in.
Availability
We work to keep invites and the dashboard online at all times, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted, for example by network or mobile data problems outside our control. Invite links stay available until well after your wedding day.
Refunds
Our refund policy explains when we refund a payment.
Limit of our liability
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for any wedding is limited to the amount you paid us for that wedding. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as costs from guests who did not attend.
Closing an account
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we can.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change affects a wedding you have already paid for, we will tell you by email.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
